First Quarter Of The Year Is Gone, What Did You Achieve?

in #busy6 years ago (edited)

At the beginning of every year or the end of a year, people take decisions and set down resolutions of what they intend doing in a new year or goals they have set for themselves that they intend to achieve for a new year. Some put it down on paper while others leave it stocked up in their memories as a daily reminder while some others write it and paste it either in their cars, bedside, beside their reading table or any where at all that they know that one way or the other they will definitely see it within a day or a week.
Aside making the new year resolutions, some tend to give a specific time frame of achieving such decisions or the goals that has been set. Also we tend to make wishes on a monthly basis of what we want to see from that new month and how prosperous we want the new month to go but.

The first quarter of the year has come and gone, and today is the second day of the month of May being the second quarter of the year but what have you achieved with the first quarter that ended few days ago?. Has there being any effort from you to see to the fact that those goals or resolutions that was set at the beginning of the new year comes to pass?
It's good to set goals and what we intend to achieve but let's face the fact and realities on ground, has any being achieved? If not then why not and why making monthly and yearly resolutions that we never keep to?
I hardly make new year resolutions until I must have achieved the ones set for the previous years that is still pending, maybe due to my laziness or situations beyond my control.
Before you start making so many resolutions, you must revisit your previous resolutions and question why they failed, else you will keep failing at achieving those set goals and resolutions.
