Walk of Hope in Negros Museum, Lihok 2018
On the 2nd day now of Lihok Visayas Festivals, @flabbergast-art has been sending me pictures after pictures of their activities from yesterday. What caught my eyes were our bamboo crafts and innovations on display at the NEGROS MUSEUM. All of them were made in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
From those on display, musical instruments like the didgeridoos were also made of bamboo. As I recall, they were made in April and were used for the kids performances. Last April's ART Workshop with the out-of-school youth also resulted with those colorful flutes in the mix.
Noticeable in the second photo are the wine holders with portraits, only in June that @flabbergast-art were doing portraits on them. Priced at $30 each, this has been one of his best-sellers!

Hello @immarojas, promoting the artists who work in your city, who do beautiful work with bamboo, is important and sure gratifying for you. I guess looking at the pictures is like traveling back to your origins. When there is joy, it is because there is happiness.
Because i am proud of what he does...besides those creations are awesome? Have you seen a bamboo bike yet?
I never heard of Lihok Festival before but this looks like a wonderful festival to showcase Negros' arts and culture. October and Masskara Festival are just around the corner. Will Walk of Hope be part of it as well? (Not sure exactly though of the exact activities for it.)

Most probably...there are projects in between plus invites to do workshops so i'll wait for @flabbergast-art to tell me on where they will be going and doing. Cheers.
