The Government Agrees Trade Cooperation with Auckland for US $ 5.4 Million

The Ministry of Trade through its business delegation in Auckland, New Zealand, recorded a potential transaction of US $ 5.4 million in a trade mission carried out on Friday (16/3/2018). The visit is Indonesia's first trade mission to New Zealand in 2018. "The potential for transactions in trade missions to New Zealand will continue to grow as there is still a business to business (B2B) meeting between Indonesian and New Zealand business actors in Wellington," said Director General National Export Development Kemendag Arlinda after implementing one on one business matching at Hotel Pullman Auckland, through a written statement to Kompas.com, Saturday (17/3/2018). Arlinda explained that one on one business matching is an activity of several series of trade missions of the Ministry of Trade to New Zealand. The trade mission began in Auckland on Friday and will end in Wellington on Monday (19/3/2018). Meanwhile, Indonesian business actors participating in the cooperation are engaged in the production of coffee, paper, agro products and palm oil. "Participate in the business sector of labor services and geothermal investment," said Arlinda. According to the Ambassador of Indonesia to New Zealand, Tantowi Yahya, the product of the country is expected to be increasingly in demand by people in New Zealand. The total potential transaction of 5.4 million US dollars is also referred to as a great value for the size of New Zealand.
