😵 How steemit pays us 😵

in #busy6 years ago (edited)
Hello steemianos as they are, today I bring you a short but very useful post. We all see in our post a reference in $ reward but those who already have at least one month in steemit will have realized that what is reflected in the post is not reality what we will receive.

If I know there are pages that tell us how much they will pay us.

But if they are like me that I like to know the reason of things, they will have asked many times how is the formula that steemit uses to pay for our post.

Here I leave it, R = 0.75 * (total amount of the reward of your post) then T = R / 2
T = SBD and SP = T / (the current value of the steem) and with that we have the rewards that our post

I'll give you an example maybe better understood, suppose your post gave 10 $ on the day of payment, then we would have 10 $ x0.75 = 7.5 $ then we divide 7.5 $ / 2 = 3.75 $, 3.75 goes directly to make our reward in SBD I mean 3.75SBD and for SP = 3.75 / 4.55 ... 0.824 SP.

Then for a reward in one of our $ 10 post we would get 3.75SBD and 0.824SP not bad why we have to take into account that the SBD is at 5.5 $ bone that this post would have generated us $ 20,625.

Seeing this data we realize that it is definitely more difficult to raise our steem power to earn SBD, I think that in the programming code for steemit rewards set the value of SBD = 1 $ since it lasted more than a year and a half around the dollar and they have not modified it (currently that is benefiting us)

It is also good to be aware that when we vote the reward we receive is in steem power therefore to try to increase our steem power more quickly it is important to do an arduous job of healing (of course this after we already have a certain amount of SP).

Friends I still have doubts, if anyone who reads the post can enlighten me I would greatly appreciate it.

  1. I do not understand the relationship (equation) of the SP with the reward that it generates when voting, I know it varies depending on the value of the SP but I still do not understand it.
  2. I also need to understand the relationship (equation) at the time of distributing the rewards to the curators.

With the current high price of SBD it pays off to take a 50/50 reward and trade SBD to SP. Or hold and do it later.
SBD and STEEM is going to be a lot more $ worth
