Some party conferences, rejection demands for re-election, rejecting election results

Several political parties in the country have announced that they will reject their results by alleging fraud in the general elections of Pakistan, At a conference in Islamabad on Friday, they demanded fresh elections. Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim Party President Shahbaz Sharif and Muttahida Majlish-e-Amal (MMA) president Maulana Fazlur Rehman presided over the press conference. The conference was also announced to start the movement demanding re-election from the conference.

The Pakistan Election Commission has been able to declare the results of 268 out of 270 seats till Friday night after the general elections were held on Wednesday. In the meantime, Imran's PTI received 117 seats. Nawaz Sharif's PML-N won the second highest 64 seats. And Bilawal Bhutto's Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) got 43 seats. Independent candidates also won 12 seats. Muttahida Majlish-e-Amal (MMA) got 13 seats, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) got 6 seats, Pakistan Muslim League-Qaeda won 4 seats. Besides, the Grand Democratic Alliance of Sindh and the Balochistan National Party (BNP) got two seats. Balochistan Awami Party has won 3 seats. However, before the announcement of the results, the opposition parties have been complaining about the rigging of elections and conspiracy to change the election results. After the results were released, the parties withdrew it and threatened the movement.

The conference was organized at the residence of MMA leader Mian Aslam in Islamabad. Maulana Fazlur Rehman of the press conference said that the all-party conference unanimously rejected the July 25, 2014 election. He also said that we do not consider this election as a public verdict. Rather, it seems to steal people's judgment.

Referring to Imran Khan's Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the party which has declared victory has not declared the victory in the conference. Rehman said, the candidates who have won the conference will not take an oath.

Though Rehman has announced this, PML-N's leader Shahbaz Sharif has wanted to discuss with the leaders before taking such a decision. He said that the movement will start and the demand for re-election will be a protest. Within a couple of days a committee will take this decision. Those teams who failed to attend the Friday conference, but urged them to join the movement. He declared, "We will not allow democracy to be hostage to any organization."

At the conference, the head of the JUI-F team said that for the election, the Pakistan Election Commission was allocated Rs two thousand crore rupees for the parliament. He raised the question and said, have they made this election? 'He complained that the commission failed to declare the results of the election even after wasting huge amount of money. The returning and presiding officers of the election were hostage to the Samirak members. They did not hand over the polling agents of the group. Rehman said, 'We will not allow these thieves to enter Parliament'.

The Pakistan People's Party, which is in third place in the election, did not attend Friday's conference. The party's spokesman said that their leadership in the election rigging will work with their own strategy.

Among the parties which took part in Friday's meeting include chief senators Sirajul Haq, Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair, Chief Minister Hafizur Rehman, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Awami National Party chief Asfandariyyy Wali Khan, Qawmi Watan Party Chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Shirpa, National Party Senator Mir Hasil B

Besides, PML-N group leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ayaz Sadik, Marium Aurangzeb, Chowdhury Tanvir, Khurram Dastagir, Pak Sarjamin team leader Mustafa Kamal, Raja Haroon and Wasim Ahmed also attended the conference. Even the leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, the group who wanted to join the coalition government with PTI. Farooq Sattar joined the conference. Farooq Sattar of the conference said that the 25 July elections have been rigged and the results have been changed. He claimed that they had set the results for their choice and they had won the party they liked.

According to Geo News, the initiative of PTI has been initiated in the formation of the coalition government, said the MQM-P conventor on Friday. Imran's team invited Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to stay in government Dr. Khalid also confirmed the invitation, said PTI leader Jahangir Tarin invited him. However, the Rabita Committee will decide on the meeting with the PTI representatives.
