Former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University (VC) AAMS Arefin Siddique said, "A cursory day for Bangladesh on 15th August. Bangabandhu murder case has been tried in this country. In the speech of chief guest at the discussion on 'Bangabandhu in his heart' at the initiative of the freedom fighter Shamsul Huq Foundation on the occasion of mourning at Ballygawa High School in Tongibari, Munshiganj, on Monday (August 13th), he said these things.

He further said, 'The people of this country have the right to know who is responsible for the killing of their untimely leader. The history of such a brutal killing is not anywhere in the world. Therefore, the government and the people must be aware of them.
