Renewing The Mind

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Almighty God has birthed us in His will through Christ. Thus we are to prove His will through the manifestation of Christ's lifestyle in us daily.
One of the greatest enemy to the will of God in us is CONFORMING TO THE WORLD SYSTEM. It's critical here because we are in the world but we are not part of the system of this world. To conform means to be moulded into the image or shape of the existing pattern. It's pertinent to understand that when we act and talk like the unbelievers we are conforming to the world system. It becomes dangerous because the world will perish and it's ways of life.

We are in the world and everyday we are faced with the activities of this sinful world. In order to be free and remain in Christ by the way we speak and act, we must constantly renew our minds. Yesterday's renewal is not enough because the prince of this world (Satan) is not resting in his quest to deceive many. We must step up in our relationship with God by studying the word of God more and praying more.

Let go of every lifestyle that betrays your relationship with Christ. You can't belong to Christ and the world at the same time. Let Christ be your standard, so shall you be eternally secured and blessed.

Abba Father, thank you for giving us the privilege to conform to your personality through Christ. Please deliver those enslaved in sin and help them to conform to Christ, in Jesus name. Amen.
