On Contentment

1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Life in Christ is the greatest level of life anyone can experience. There's a lot of benefits, which covers spiritual, physical and emotional. The presence of God in our lives makes the difference in every endeavors of life. It's amazing to know that one who is with God is fulfilled, though he doesn't physically possess every material thing. The presence of joy and fulfillment in the life of a child of God, irrespective of life's problems, is called contentment. We can consciously choose to be fine with what we have at the moment.

The will of God is that after having Christ in us we should be contended. Please don't allow greed to drag you into being entangled with the system of this world. There's more to life than possession, fame or popularity. There's more to life than display of riches. There's more to life that power. That MORE is Christ in us the hope of glory. Nothing can be compared to eternity with God at last. Don't panic, God is making a way for your breakthroughs, but don't allow what you pursue to deprive you of who you have. Christ is for you, hold on to Him.

Abba Father, thank you for your peace and fulfillment lo these years. Please touch every broken hearts, strengthen the weak and deliver the oppressed. Help us to be contended, in Jesus name. Amen.
