Forgiveness

Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Forgiveness is a must for everyone who desire a fulfilled life. It comes when we make a personal decision to accommodate people without expecting them to be perfect. Brethren, there'll always be misunderstanding and most times, quarrels. The difference in human peaceful disposition is in the way we handle conflict. Today, the Almighty God gives us the perfect method: forbear and forgive.
To forbear connotes a position of keeping healthy relationship with people without expecting them to be good to you. It means not just loving people now, but also loving them in advance.
It's the knowledge of possible misbehavior that prepares our minds to forgive at all times. Let go of the hurt, not because the person deserve it, but because God said you should do so. It might be difficult to forgive but you can. Our forgiveness should be the same as Christ's forgiveness of our sins.
Just forgive!

Abba Father, thank you for forbearing and forgiving us through Christ Jesus. Please give us a heart to let go and grant us peace all round, in Jesus name. Amen.
