Flourishing in Righteousness

Psalms 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

The Almighty God place His focus on the righteous (those that are in right standing with Him). We are all expected to live in righteousness, in total obedience to God. This is the way to a flourishing experience in all endeavors of life. God is no respecter of persons. Those who try to outsmart God are left to struggle. It's more profitable to be on the Lord's side, irrespective of what we know or want. Jesus remains the surest solution to all life issues. That same Jesus Christ is calling us to be the righteousness of God in Him.

Take a look at yourself! Have you been living a righteous life? What are the things that drive you away from God's presence? Are the issues of life worth the distance from God and the struggles?

This is a salient moment. Our flourishing is eternal. One day, Christ shall come to take us home, those who are spotless and without wrinkles in their attitude shall be raptured.

If your flourishing is the one that will end here on earth, you are of all men most miserable. Check yourself today and lay hold on eternal life.

Heavenly Father, thank you for making us flourish in all way round. Please grant us the grace to stand firm and flourish in you for ever, in Jesus name. Amen.
