Continue in Prayer
Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Prayer is the act of talking to the Almighty God. In the natural setting, we talk to our earthly parents, irrespective of their shortcomings. The same is applicable in spiritual matters, though our spiritual Father (God) is perfect and void of shortcomings. To this end, the Spirit of truth admonishes us today to continue in prayer. The Almighty God is aware of how urgent you might feel about your need, but He still knows the best time to bring it. Besides, prayers shouldn't be all about our needs, but fellowship with God and thanksgiving for His marvelous works.
Have you been praying and now you are feeling disappointed that those that doesn't pray or fast like you are getting it, while you still struggle through life? Arise and pray without making your needs a condition to talk to God. He's God with or without our needs. Lack or availability of our needs can not change who He is. Go back in prayer and glorify the giver of life. Lift your hands and worship the creator and sustainer of the whole earth. He's God forever and nothing can ever change that.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for all you have done and will continue to do. We are sorry for feeling discouraged when things didn't happen at our timing. Please open our eyes of understanding that we may respect your timing, in Jesus name. Amen.
