Beyond Understanding

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The peace of God is a state of fulfillment and calmness of the heart, even in the midst of chaos. In fact, for people abiding in Christ, what keeps their hearts from worries, anxiety, depression or fear is the peace of God. Have you ever discovered that your heart is full of joy and you don't understand why? When His peace comes, there's no need for physical evidence. The manifestation of God's peace is beyond what the human mind can understand.

This peace is delivered to us to keep our hearts and mind. In a world full of trouble, only the peace of God can keep us from being depressed. The peace of God keeps us in oneness with Christ. There's an assurance of greater glory when we have His peace.
Do you have His peace in your heart. Sin is a major enemy to His peace. No sinner can have His peace. Let everyone living in sin repent, for there's no peace, says the Lord unto the wicked (Isaiah 57:21). Come to Christ in humility today, confess His Lordship over your life and He'll make you live in peace forever.
