Hello Steemit,

paper beats rock!

When you think about this outcome, it makes sense but things carved in stone will still remain longer than paper.

I will be traveling soon so my posting will be limited or non-existant for a few weeks. The crypto currency revolution feels like it is just around the corner. Before I leave I am setting up backup data just in case my computer dies from too much mining.

Do you have things in order in case there is a shutdown of the Internet or your device crashes?

Some things you might want to do if you have not done them yet are;
Backup codes for applications, email, wallets, and your steem account stored on small external hard disk (crash proof)

Backup codes stored on paper (EMP proof)

Surprisingly many codes could even be stored here publicly on the blockchain if you were to make the proper decoding algorithm, I want to post more things like this but I don't want to lower my reputation too much either! (partial world network failure proof)

Paper so far has stoof the test of time far better than the internet, we do not know what tomorrow will bring but with the block-chain, internet interaction can be archived and recovered better than a centralized server.
