Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a more useful indicator of success than IQ: QE is able to perceive the emotions and behaviors of others to act healthily. It involves the ability to bring useless feelings as prisoners to Christ so that we can regain inner peace. You do not need to be intimidated by your feelings; You can exercise real control over them and live in the spirit!

One. We are dominant in our own internal state. God is not responsible for your heart, it's you. All who have been created by God have been entrusted with a kingdom of power in which they can exercise spiritual authority. Where is it? He is hidden in you! Your heart is the main source of life. This causes all the real worries of life. Your thoughts can tell you directly about the evil, but if you do not understand the secret of governing your emotional state, you will live oppressed instead of being free.

Two. We can really control our feelings instead of being ruled by them. Left alone, his emotions will tend to overwhelm his reason, his will, and his desires. However, you don't need to rests! You have the power to decide. If you feel overwhelmed and do not want it, you can choose to reject it. To achieve this victory, you must understand how to work with your feelings.

Three. No one in heaven or on earth can carry a feeling in you and keep it there. No one else has power over what's in you, you know? You only have the right to choose what remains and what remains. You can gradually discover how to avoid the emotions you do not want. It is important to know because if you blame others or your difficulties for what you feel, you will never be free. God did this to make sure no one could have power over your inner being. It's between you and God.

Four. You must not force or ignore your feelings. Controlling your emotional state does not mean that you refuse to pay attention to the attitudes you wish you were not there for. You really need to identify what you feel and then do the right thing with that feeling. It just does not work as a long-term strategy to ignore your feelings and pretend they are not there. They will almost always grow that way and will overwhelm you later. Nor is it right to destroy your feelings and overwhelm them with your power. How can you fight against yourself and wait for victory?

Five. Listen to your feelings, but do not believe it. Feelings are shameless cheats! All negative emotions are for you ... whenever they appear. Fear wants you to be scared or at least worried, but Jesus says, "Do not be afraid." Who cheats? Feelings of pain want you to resent someone, but the Lord says, "Give me that." Who cheats? Self-reproach says you are useless, but the Lord says, "I do not judge you." Who cheats Always leave the message of negative emotions, but beware: even positive feelings will sometimes lie to you.

Six. Your deepest beliefs control your feelings. Feelings do not fall to us without reason. They flow from the "truth" in which we believe deeply. Many of these things do not agree with God's perspective, but if we continue to believe it, we will continue to hear. These are non-Christian interpretations that we "learned" in our early years, without the Word and the Holy Spirit teaching us better. This earlier programming will keep our emotional lives trapped unless we decide to fight!

Seven. Freedom is achieved by a commitment to the truth and not by testamentary competition. The scriptures say that they seize these false thoughts at the root of our feelings and bring them as slaves of Christ. Elevate your feelings to the wisdom of Christ and choose to believe what he says, to believe and do what he shows you with these emotions. What you really believe and feel is between you and God. No one, not even God, can change your feelings or beliefs without your permission.

If you notice that your emotional state is losing peace, you should not underestimate it as a "fictional store". Use your "emotional intelligence" through the burden of certain negative emotions (trying to control yourself) trapped in Christ and back to trust, peace and bright hope - your emotional life. Your new life in Christ is your life in you!

Is your EQ better than your IQ @cleverbot

Thank You. I know I am serious. We are rowing a boat right now.

Again a great article. I am gradually learning how to work with emotions. For example, I thank my impatience for the lesson of patience ;-)

Hi there,

I really enjoyed your piece but as a non religiously aligned spiritual person (who mindfully respects everyone's right to choose their own path and beliefs), was a little turned off by all the Christian references.

Please do not be offended by this ~ it's just my pennys worth.

Emotional intelligence is indeed of greater value than IQ and crosses all belief systems.

Be well.
