Flagging

I have been wondering about the continuing flagging of @haejin and if it works. Obviously it doesn't work because he or she or whatever continues posting 10 times a day and despite all the flags this account gets, it still manages to make about $10,000.00 a week.

Now this has resulted in a lot of people with low SP and gung-ho attitudes who think they are the Lone Ranger flagging @haejin and getting really burned by @haejin who has flagged them back and their reputations have gone to hell. This kind of wars should be made by the guys who can handle it.

But I have been thinking, if all of these people who flag others instead of flagging looked for good content and upvoted it, wouldn't this drive the reward per vote down as each vote would reduce from the reward pool and a good vote from one of @berniesanders bots would be worth a lot, so instead of losing the votes reward by flagging you would be helping someone who posted a good or great article, you would get the curation reward and as this would take a slice out of the reward pool it would make the rewards that people like @haejin take that much smaller without even incurring in hard feelings.

I really think that would be a solution all of these high stake holders should really curate and the rewards would be more evenly spread out, individual value per vote would have to go down as the reward pool is finite and if more people vote each vote's value will be lower.

I mean this flagging @haejin war has been going on for months, @haejin is still making a lot of money here, a lot of minnows who got involved have seen their REP go down to below zero and actually nothing has been achieved, @haejin was hit way harder by the fall in Steem price than by flags.

Why don't the big guys try this, spread out your votes, earn your curation rewards and everything will be better, @haejin will still make money nothing you can do about it as has been repeatedly shown. But if you up vote good work you really are giving the platform a boost.

I know a lot of people won't like this idea, mainly because a lot of people find it hard to not be in a fight with someone else, but just think about it, it might be that this could be a good thing to do.
