Las ciudades antigüas mantienen sus nexos con el pasado, para que sus pobladores recuerden sus orígenes y se sientan orgullosos de ellos. Sin embargo las ciudades crecen y requieren utilizar hasta el extremo sus espacios disponibles. Es así como vemos piezas arquitectónicas rodeadas de construcciones más nuevas que parecieran acechar cualquier descuido para engullirlas.
