Yesterday's bet did result into a push thanks to a penalty for Standard in the last minute of the added time! That was one lucky escape!

Today games

Three qualification games will be played today. First I was thinking about placing a bet on all three of them, but there weren't any odds in the Red Bull Salzburg game which I did find interesting!
It is expected that RB Salzburg shouldn't have any problem with winning the first leg at home, they are massively favorite, which is reflected in the odds!

That leaves us with the following games: Celtic vs AEK and PAOK vs Spartak Moscow!

Celtic vs AEK

Celtic did qualify for this round after eliminating Rosenborg. The first leg was also played at home which they won with 3-1. AEK was automatically qualified for this round.
It will be the first official game for AEK this season and their Friendly games weren't something to be impressed about.
In Scotland the Premiership is already started and Celtic (again at home) won against Livingston with again 3-1. I do believe that they will qualify for the next round and lay a firm basis for this in their home game.

That's why I did go for the Celtic -1 bet with odds of 2.241!

PAOK vs Spartak

PAOK did qualify for this round by eliminating Basel. Both legs where won by PAOK with 2-1 at home and even a dry 0-3 away!
Spartak was automatically qualified for this round!
While the Greece competition still has to start, they are playing domestic football in Russia again. Spartak won at home with 1-0 against Orenburg and did had a scoreless draw in the derby against Lokomotiv!
I do still foresee an open game. Both teams do create around 13 to 14 chances per game, so that is an expected 25 chances, and only 3 have to go in to make my bet a winner.

I decided to pick the over 2.5 goals for this one, based on the stats and the odds (2.38).
