(An Insight into the Life of Daniel)
Dan 1:17
17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom:and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

The scriptures illustrates in various instances how men lived by virtue of the divine deposits implanted in them by God. Their lives became wonders.

The gift of the Lord not only is it without repentance but it makes absolute ways for the possessor.

The book of Daniel specially brings hope to my heart as we read about young men on fire for God yet they were the talk of the town and NEVER DULLARDS.

The Bible reveals how Daniel and His Brethren were gifted but in addition to their endowment, God added to Daniel the grace to understand all visions and dreams- one that distinguished him from everyone Else.

When God gives ,it saves. Having found favor in the eyes of the king ,the Hebrew boys began their political ministry in the government of Nebuchadnezzar and as time went on calamity strucked .

The king had a dream he couldn't remember not to talk about the interpretation and he summoned not for Daniel but for all the magicians and astrologers in his realm of influence but they proved to be men without wisdom in such critical matters .

Let me state at this point that many people especially young men are in the 21st century claiming to be intellectuals and Critical thinkers not wanting to be associated with God, hahaha! I laugh at you because a day shall surely cone when your Effective and Usual means of resolving your own problems as the boss of your life will FAIL.

Let me prove this:

In Daniel 2, after the king woke up and summon his magicians who have bragged in their prowess but all of them failed ; they were not connected to Source of all life .

They were used to sorting themselves out but not this time. It took only a man embedded with the HolyGhost- the Spirit of the Warrior King to reach heaven for supplies.

The whole nation was thrown ablown as hundreds of men faced death penalty. Then there was a steering in the spirit and the bowels of heaven opened and Daniel account was recharged with the most crucial national information needed at the time . Daniel revealed and interpreted the king's by Divine insight .

Interestingly, we need to take into account the events that unfolded before and after the interpretation of the king's dream and the lessons to be learnt.

There is a platform for the expression of every gift ; events and matters are your drivers to that platform. The true value of every gifting is revealed In the face of difficulty&most times it could be really life threatening. Let us take note that while others bemoaned the king's order of executive execution, Daniel didn't panic neither was he overwhelmed.

He instead asked for an extension of time to consult His Answer Giving God. Worthy to note is the place of prayer in the fulfilment of destiny. Daniel summoned his three brethren and they began beseeching God's mercy for answers together .And God as He will always ;He answered . Let me ask at this point: WHO IS YOUR FRIEND?
can they stand and watch you be in front.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego joined hands with Daniel and besought heaven and received answers. Whatever gift you have ,if you want to use it in God's way you must stir it up in the place of Prayer.Prayer is a necessary motivation for your gifts.

Your gifts will not manifest in isolation. You need men fashioned by God to stand by you-Daniel 2:17. That was the role of Daniel three friends and thank God I have found mine . you should too.

Glory and Honor is what you will get when your gifts are expressed but ALWAYS remember who gave them to you.

Daniel 2:46

[46]Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
When God gives ,Don't enjoy alone

Daniel 2:48-49

[48] Then king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

[49] Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon:but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

When all were said and done ,Daniel became a celebrity but he refused to enjoy alone. He recommended the same men that bore the brunt of prayer with him before the king.Many people have forgotten the men and women who stood by them in the days of smallness even their own parents(this is terrible) but Daniel understood that every opportunity and favor God gives you in the presence of men is to aid your service to Him and to your fellow man. We must not do otherwise.

Brothers and Sisters ,succeeding is not the problem but is it OK by you if you succeed alone? Never be happy to go up alone. Take others with you for they are your testimony. It is my greatest desire in life to excel together with my friends ,brothers and the Larger Family of God. I don't want to go to Heaven alone. Souls will go with me in their Numbers.

I don't want to be the only who have the capacity and willingness to give out large sums. I want every child of God to have more than excess to spare.
