A los pies de la playa
En mi estadía en Barbados la ausencia de mi esposa fue lo más dificil de sobrellevar. Uno se acostumbra a esa presencia diaria, constante, cálida y necesaria para de golpe suplantarla por la nada... es dificil.
Ella me fue a visitar los últimos 10 dias del curso, y volvimos juntos a nuestra casa.
Alquilé una habitación para esa primera noche, en el camino hacia Speighstown. Un hotelito de pocas habitaciones.
Este malecón estaba en el camino, allí contemplamos el sol perderse en el mar
y dimos gracias por el reencuentro.
