Freewrite Day 467 Wild and Woolly
Recent freewrite prompts are making me feel inadequate in my native (and only) tongue. I have a vague knowledge that this is a phase, but I have never used it or run into it before.
So I looked it up online in a few places and it related to the wild west. This is @janton’s area so maybe he has used the phrase.
It was in a book about the west in the mid 1800’s but possibly was in use before that. It is meant to describe a person or place that is lawless and uncultured. There are TWO movies with this name. One from 1917 and one from the 1970’s. How have I missed all this?
I guess you are supposed to say it if you see someone acting crazy, “Look at the wild and woolly man! Someone call the police!”
I do not think I will ever do that or use this phrase again in my life, but never say never!

Situation Critical – My rent and wifi are not paid and now are both overdue
UPDATE: I am so happy and relieved to tell you that:
- my rent and a wifi top up have been paid.
- the money sent to my US paypal account has arrived, through Thailand to Malaysia!
A bigger post describing current events will be posted soon, but I want to let anyone checking on me know that the first part of the situation is solved and that at least I will not be cut off from the world without a roof over my head.
And I can afford to go to Singapore for my required visa trip. Can you go to Singapore for three days and spend a total of $75 USD? Watch me!

howdy fitinfun! there ya go, talkin about me again! lol.. yes I've used that before and it is rather common in my genre. You're just too cultured to have been exposed to it! lol. But, I don't recall a movie with that title from the 70's so that surprises me a little.
This week I've pretty much taken off because we lost our internet service for a couple days and I was so far behind I said heck with it and started doing some work outside, projects that need to be done before Spring. Anyway that's why I haven't been around for awhile.

No I don't keep up with any of it. All I know is that the big guys are in turmoil best kept away from. I pray daily they do not kill the place and that's it.
