I Rebelled, Then We Are!
Who is the rebel? Camus explains the rebel is someone who says "no". Someone who during his life receives orders, and decides to say "no" to the new command. Resistance is done, making a person become a whole person. With rebellion, consciousness is born. Awareness of being respected, being equal in rights, and rejecting contempt. The basis is the argument of the #Aceh rebellion being built. In much of the literature, such a philosophical framework underlies an insurrection in Aceh run by Hasan Tiro. Self-esteem, #marwah, the desire not to become a slave until the feeling of not wanting to be oppressed makes this movement of independence struggle erupted.
In the idea of rebellion, @HasanTiro was also influenced by the idea of Nietzsche. Quoting @NezarPatria's interpretation, Hasan Tiro brings his rebellious idea to the area of existential struggle: the meaning of life and death. With the argument only "free man" and not slave to others, can choose "how to live" and "when to die". The free man is a warrior, for him the free man is a fighter. In line with that expressed by Camus, "Society opposes the state ..., a calculating freedom against rational tyranny, ultimately altruistic individualism opposes the colonization of the masses". In my view, Hasan Tiro was infected with Altruism that made him feel compelled and felt to be a detonator of rebellion. Being in charge of the burden of history 'tribe', as a catalyst for justice for the people of #Aceh.
Camus believes that rebellion is one of the "essential dimensions" of mankind. It is futile to deny the reality of its history-it is better to find in it a principle of existence. Camus-like rebellious philosophy that Herbert Read pointed out-beginning with Sade's absolute denial, glancing at Baudelaire and "the dandies," passing Stirner, Nietzsche, Lautréamont and the surrealists.
