FAKE FRIENDS EVERYWHERE

They say success attracts fake friends. But I say failure too attract fake friends; friends that will join you in complaining how bad the system is, friends who form a pity party with you, friend that want to laugh you at your back they only want to be close in order to get updated time to time about your situation. No matter who you are (successful or failed) you will always attract fake friends.

Don't destroy yourself by allowing negative people add gibberish and debris to your character, reputation, and aspirations. Keep all dreams alive but discreet, so that those with unhealthy tongues won't have any other option than to infest themselves with their own diseases.

When you are successful the following are the types of fake friends you attract;

• PRAISE SINGERS
  There is thing line between praise singing and appreciation. You need to be able to differentiate these two set of people. Appreciators are good for your growth because they show you how far you have come and give you the necessary accolades you deserve(I also call them encouragers). Praise singers on the other hand are very dangerous most times they give a false image about yourself; they never tell you the truth. The main purpose of praise singers is to intentionally or unintentionally derail you. It is very difficult to spot this set of people because they come as true friends in fact some are very sincere only that they blow your success out of proportion.

• PARASITES
  This set of people are only with you for what they can get from you, the only thing that attracted this set of people is your success. The day you have nothing to offer they are gone. This people can say or do anything for you just for what they can get in return. In fact it is OK to say they are only in friendship with your success not you.
  It is easy for this people to betray you; once they get a higher bidder they are gone. This set of people are the most dangerous set of friends one can have. They don't have anything to offer you other than to suck you dry and move to the next victims.

Buy a gift for a dog, and you'll be amazed at the way it will dance and swerve its tail, but if don't have anything to offer to it, it won't even recognize your arrival; such are the attributes of fake friends.

• SPY THAT LOVE YOU
  This set of people are only with you to get information from you either for your competitors or to gossip with. These people are so fake that even you might not be able to predict right anything about them. In your presence you are the best but in your absence you are a devil. Don't be deceived by this set of people they are only there to bring you down.

The trouble with competitors' sycophants is they don't know where to put their tongues. Here's a suggestion: Try behind your teeth. With your mouth shut.

CONCLUSION
No matter which level you are in life keep your circle small, the only company you inevitably need is the one with yourself, don't be too scared to be lonely to the point you settle for fake friends.

Your destiny has so much to do with the kind of company you keep.
