A miracle plant!

What is this plant, I know some of you will guess it as hemp. No, it's not a hemp, it's a chaste tree or lagundi in Filipino. It is a large shrub that grow in tropical and subtropical areas and valued as an herbal medicine.

These miracle shrub or tree is use as medicine to cure cough. In fact some pharmacuetical company process it's leave for a capsule.

However, local villager here in Bicol have boil it's leave and drink it as tea. Local also believe that Lagundi bark and roots fermented with wine will promote a good health.
