PAPELON WITH LEMON

Papelón con Lemon is a refreshing Venezuelan drink made with papelón (hardened sugar cane paste), water, and lemon juice.

This drink is not only refreshing, but because it contains a natural sweet does not affect your blood sugar levels so it represents a healthy drink compared to the intake of soft drinks or industrialized drinks containing large amounts of sugar or glucose

Ingredients

500 gr of paper
2 or 3 large lemons
1 ½ liter of water

Preparation

It is placed to melt the panela of paper in the water in a glass container, the lemons are squeezed to obtain the juice and it is added to the container, strained and put into the refrigerator.
