DOCTORS WITH VOCATION
The presence of the doctor is so convincing that there have been cases in which a single word of his can cure us in health in the uncertain world of our fears. Words that psychologically are also an essential part of a medicine that is figuratively injected into our being, to alleviate in large part some physical condition that could afflict us. Hence the need to understand and respect the philosophical identity of the doctor, which is intrinsic in the humility of his noble profession of which he is a devoted and eternal scholar.
The doctor is also a father, he is a son, he is a brother, he is a friend and, above all, he is a human being with a very special mission in life.
I remember the testimony of a good friend, who when he was discharged, then asked the doctor, "How much do I owe him?", To which the doctor of great vocation and Hippocratic oath responded respectfully: Sir, the mere fact of getting up of that bed for convalescents and walking, that for me is the best pay.
There are countless occasions in the most required moments when we see that doctor reach the bed of our misfortune, to quench the thirst for healing and salvation of our mortal lives.
Many times, the doctor also shares our multiplied pains, when by design of destiny or by some circumstance adverse to his will, with great helplessness and sadness he feels that his hands escape a life ...
The doctor is not due to a miracle, the doctor is due to the deep and scientific work of the human body and its pathologies. Who could not love doctors, if we doctors owe a portion of our beautiful existence?
The doctor always consistent with his first aid bag in catastrophes of all kinds, in wars and peace. Saving a life is the most sublime representation of all actions. For so many wonderful things, from the most recondite nature and human spirituality, go for you women and men of medicine our most excessive gratitude and blessings. Thank you for having the audacity to postpone once again our obligatory appointment with the Creator!
