Quest Reward - Manticore! F2P Steem Monsters Progress #22

Today I got my sixth Epic rarity rewards card. The Manticore! I have just realized that I am only missing the Imp Bowman from the epic reward cards.

The cards stats look pretty good. First of all its a dragon type, so it can be used with all splinters. It has the reach ability and 4 mana cost, just like all the other reach monsters I have. It also comes with flying, to make it harder to hit, and later gets thorns.

It almost seems like its made to function as a backup tank. So it uses its reach ability in second position and if your tank falls the thorns and flying give it assistance avoiding attacks and dishing damage back to enemies who hit it. This card takes the place of grumpy dwarf as a reach monster for all splinters.

I am pretty happy getting this, as I did not have it previously, And I cannot wait to use him in battle.

On the market this cards lowest price is currently $0.30!!! Really got lucky today! This high price means it would be a huge achievement to combine enough of these to max it out. Maybe the Grumpy Dwarf will have to do for now!
