First column is by 1, which is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5....of course number 4 is not listed to create the puzzle more challenging.
Second column is still by 1, which is 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,

Third column is a series in which the first number (5) is added by an odd number 7. The sum is 12, added by the next odd number after 7, so 12+9=21, next 21+11 (the next odd number after 9)= 32. Thats the hidden number. The number asked is 32+13= 45. So the answer is 45. Hahaha no equations, just arithmetic series....

1 + 4 = 5
2 + 5 + 5 = 12
3 + 6 + 12= 21
4 + 7 + 21= 32
so
5 + 8 + 32= 45
Or maybe it should be:
1 + 4 = 5
2 + 5 + 5 = 12
3 + 6 + 12 = 21
5 + 8 + 21 = 34
So the answer is 34???

Maybe the 7 line was hidden for a reason??? My answer was 34!
