Los altares mayores de las iglesias siempre son interesantes, porque representan un momento, circunstancia y devenir histórico de la región o localidad.
Incluso dependiendo de la corriente religiosa los cambios en el ornamento son apreciables. De la sobriedad de los protestantes, con sus vitrales imponentes y alegóricos, a la suntuosidad rayando en exageración de los católicos y ortodoxos.
Sin embargo, no es menester nuestro juzgar, sino presentar por ejemplo este altar. ¿Se atreven a adivinar a cual corriente pertenece?
