Knowing Czech Republic
As I said before Czech Republic is one of the countries that I am most passionate about and want to visit today I would like you to know a little more about the country its politics and development.
The Czech Republic, in Central Europe, is a country known for its ornate castles, native beers and its long history. Prague, the capital, has the great Prague Castle of the ninth century, a preserved medieval old city and the Charles Bridge, lined with statues. Český Krumlov is a small town in the South Bohemian region that is noted for its abundance of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings, many of which house restaurants and shops.
It is a landlocked Central European sovereign country. It borders Germany to the west, Austria to the south, Slovakia to the east and Poland to the north. Its capital and largest city is Prague. The Czech Republic has territories of what were once Moravia and Bohemia and a small part of Silesia..
The Czech Republic has a highly developed economy, with a per capita GDP of 82% of the European Union average, and the Czech Republic is also one of the most stable and prosperous economies within the countries of the former Soviet bloc, with growth economic growth of 6% annually during the years prior to the 2008 crises, mainly driven by exports to the rest of the European Union countries, especially Germany, and domestic demand. Recently it was agreed to sell 7% of the shares of the energy producer, CEZ group (Skupina ČEZ). A study conducted in 2009 found that most economists are in favor of continuing liberalization in most sectors of the economy.3

Prague is a city where culture and arts shine with special intensity. The poster of cultural activities is rich and varied. Art lovers can find in this city a cultural paradise.
