Tienes la seducción de lo imposible,
una gracias tan fina que enamora,
una boca fragante y seductora
y el mirar como diosa... inmarcesible...
Tienes tantos hechizos y hermosura
que, viendo tu figura, me parece
el junco ribereño cuando crece
a orillas del Arauca en la llanura...
Eres cual sombra fresca del camino
cual descanso que anhela el peregrino,
cual rima que hace falta en mi terceto...
Por tener ese encanto soberano,
tú debiste hacer en nuestro llano
y deberían ser coplas... mi soneto...
