Tree of Life!

My first entry in this week's @bwphotocontest:

Long thought what picture to put up for the contest. Today I found in my archives a winter photo made on a walk in the park of my city. Alder stood out against the background of the surrounding trees. It is much taller and more powerful than maples and lindens with poplars growing next to it.
