Mail Delivery Failed. Bouncing Email. Returning Email.
Are you running your own small business? If yes, read on. This article mainly goes to individuals who are running their own business and using email as one of their primary means of communication.
I am not going to discuss the technicality of email. I will directly go the the possible issues that are going to arise while you are using email.
Be it a Yahoo email, Gmail, or an email that comes with your own domain they still have something in common.
First, and one of the most important "Read, read, read".
If you are an individual that does not read error messages or mail delivery failure messages that are being sent on your inbox this is the time to do so. Not reading a mail delivery failure messages from your inbox will make stuck in limbo. Reading helps. That's a fact.
If your email bounces back, MAIL DELIVERY FAILED.
Sometimes this issue is with the email address that you are sending, double check the spelling of the email. A missing period, character, or letter or anything in between will make this error.
If your email bounces back, REJECTED BY THE RECIPIENT.
If your email bounces back and you read a phrase "rejected by the recipient" on the body of the email, your email is being rejected by the server of the recipient (email you are sending to). Sometimes this is being caused by the anti-spam filtering of the recipient's server.
With Yahoo and Gmail this is not happening much. This usually happens on an email that is sent from a dedicated domain such as your own domain or email service.
Cannot send, NOT ENOUGH DISK QUOTA
This is usually the problem if you are using your own email services or domain. Delete email messages on your inbox, sent item, or spam folder to free up space then try to send again.
You can't receive any email
This is usually happening if you are using your own domain or email services. Your disk quota may be full, try to delete some email.
This also happens if your email is compromised (usually on your own domain). Compromised email usually sends spam email on its own.
When your email is spamming it will be blocked by your email provider. You have to call your own email provider to unblock your email.
