Discouraged on the Low Value of Your Payout or SBD (Steem Dollar) in US Dollars or in Your Local Currency? Here's What You Need to Know
If you are a beginner and you just joined Steemit last February and discouraged on the low exchange rate of SBD (Steem Dollar) against the US Dollar or you are discouraged on the low votes that your posts are getting there are couple of things that you need to know that I think will encourage you to continue your journey in Steemit.
First of all, I can say that all of the previous beginners that come into Steemit got into a rough start. As a beginner getting upvotes are scarce unless a community, group or whale got your back.
Second, unless you invested a lot of money into Steemit to buy Steem or to buy upvotes from voting bots it will be hard to earn good and stable payout from your blog posts.
Cryptocurrencies are very volatile, they can go down and up in value drastically in a short period of time. Steem is a cryptocurrency, it is the native cryptocurrency of the Steem Blockchain. Steem Dolllar (SBD) is a smart contract within the Steem Blockchain.
If you are a beginner and just joined the platform last February you need to know that blogging in Steemit does not require a lot of investment. You only need fair amount of time and an internet connection. I am pretty sure that before you joined the platform you are already using an internet connection.
Just continue on posting quality articles. Those articles will be your investment. It is a good investment because you don't need a huge amount of money as a capital. Quality articles will get you a lot of followers. Those followers will be the one to give a good payout in the future. Engage with your followers. Engagement will give you good exposure in the platform.
Invest in Steemit. Why waste your time on some other social networking platform if you are not earning in return? With Steemit you earn while posting.
Also, if you are a beginner that joined last December 2017 wherein the exchange rate of Steem Dollar (SBD) to US Dollar is about $10 USD - 1 SBD you are probably very disappointed on the current exchange rate which is hovering at about $3.04 USD - 1 SBD.
You need to know that the value of SBD to USD before December last year is only hovering at $2 USD - 1 SBD. I am not saying that SBD will also be going to be valued at $10 USD this coming December. What I am saying is, and what you need to know is that blogging in Steemit is a good investment since you are not using huge money as an investment.
You only need a fair amount of time and some internet connection. A mobile data would do. Since you are already using internet before you joined Steemit expenses on internet is out of the picture. So why not invest?
Invest, do not expect too much. Little by little you will accumulate a good amount of profit. Do not waste your time on any other social networking sites that don't get you paid.
