Blame and praise are all yours when you start digging in the right place

Surrounded by books, motivational speakers, gurus, tweets and "positive minds" at any corner of existence it's easy to fall for someone else wisdom and recipe for success, enlightenment and whatever is "that" advertising, but is it really worth following others when you have your own?

I have to admit that I had my share of these kind of books, videos and powerful quotes surrounding me for years and ultimately I gave up on all of them. Why? Because none of them was mine. It was just second hand knowledge, perception and mental concepts that were perfectly true and entitled for practice, for the one preaching them. But not for me.

Every single one of us has his "personal wisdom" that works and it is backed by personal experience, achievements and failures. That, in my opinion, is the most valuable one can get. Reading, listening and watching others might be fun to mental, as Eddie Griffin once said, but stepping in someone else shoes and walking his path is definitely a never ending road.

Then why the struggle to fit someone else truth and personal concepts of life, success in life, enlightenment or whatever, when you can have your own. "That" which has been traveling with you forever and is the closest to you as nobody else can get is the most shining of them all, no exception. If you are into searching secrets and powerful insights search no further than yourself. You will be amazed to see what you find once you start digging.

Amen brother! It can be inspiring or educational to seek outwardly the learning of others, but deep truth is only found within. Personal experiential knowledge.

Often the things you post about are just what my day has been all about. So interesting. 🙏🏽

I noticed that with some users also. There are some connections and resonances around here. Good to hear that.
