For new followers it's better to post every 4 hours , but the content has to high quality and if you take the pictures it is better to have your brand signed on the bottom of the picture. Also give credit if you take someones picture , that way you respect their content and also they will notice you and maybe help you out with getting more engagement.
Find an influencer or a page with common content with your and start following people from the most recent post , you follow them because they are active and you will have a better chance for people following you back more fast.
Start liking and commenting on some people you have followed , that way you will get more engagement on your account and slowly you will start to get comments on your posts and hopefully people will tag each other on your posts.
Post stories after you post a picture it will drive more engagement to your page , you can post a story realted to your last post or something that will make people checkout your page.
Spend some time on researching the best hashtags for your niche , always use trending hashtags and put as much as possible , but make it look good .
Tag pages/people who have simmilar content on your pictures that will make them checkout your page and these tags will get back to you by other pages , so that is one more way of getting more traffic to your page.
