Mug printing business is a low cost investment business. It is a small home based business. Mugs in which you normally drink tea or coffee are now a days are used in every home or office. These are fastly becoming a new age business idea.
People are gifting mugs as a corporate gifts, personal gift, birthday gift or gift for different events. One can print the any image on the mugs. A colored image of any person or scene can be printed on the mug and same can be gifted to anyone for any occasion.
This business is a low investment business but you can earn handsome amount once you start getting order. If you already have a laptop or computer and printer then you only need is mug printing machine.
You can start this business from a shop in the market, mall or from any office from where you can take orders. You can also start this business from your home also.

Process of Mug Printing
First make a design on any suitable designing software (like coreldraw or photoshop). You must have the designing software knowledge.
Standard mug size is 203 mm x 85 mm. You can set any size as you desired.
File to be printed can be saved in .jpeg format and in CMYK mode.
A mirror image is printed on sublimation paper which gets printed on cup in proper way.
Now to print the image on cup a mug printer is used which is initially pre heated for 5 minutes.
Now paste the design on the mug and put it in the machine so that design gets transferred on the mug.
Using heat transfer method the colour design from the printout gets transferred the cup or object.
Normally a tea mug costs around Rs. 40 to Rs. 50 or 1 dollar and printing cost is very low around Rs. 5. The mug or other item can be sold on Rs. 200 to Rs. 300 making a good profit.
Total Investment cost is less than Rs. 30000/- if you already have laptop.
