Today's video is all about our next Top Business Book:
The Ultimate Sales Machine by Chet Holmes
More than "just a" sales book, this book goes deeper into what it takes to grow a business from managing meetings to outreach sales and marketing. Chet Holmes also covers goal-setting and how to maximise productivity - there's a ton to learn here.
A returning theme is around showing "pig-headed discipline" to do the things that others won't and this is what will set you and your business apart.
The sales aspects of the book are more geared toward direct marketing (so if you like Dan Kennedy, you will no doubt like this too) and although this book was written pre-social media, many of the approaches could be tailored toward newer technologies e.g. webinars rather than seminars etc.
Overall this is a great book that is well worth a read (my copy is full of notes and underlines etc, which is always a sign of a good book!).
