A lot of entrepreneurs treat their bodies badly in exchange for success. They have a lot of health related challenges due to long hours of sitting before a computer, unsociable hours with little or no sleep, and eating junk foods just to catch up with deals.

1 WHAT DOES THE BODY WANT?

The body of an organism is such a complicated one. It wants everything within to work harmoniously. The body requires food that nourishes it, as well as regular exercises for it to keep fit. When all these are provided, the body remains healthy.

2 CHANGE WHAT YOU EAT AND DRINK

Food and drink are the most important things that can impact on your health either positively or negatively.

When you improve your diet and drink what nourishes the body, you promote a healthy living for yourself. Enhancing the quality and variety of food that you eat ensures that your immune system, metabolism and mental processes function at an optimum level. With a healthy diet, your brain can function optimally and your energy can be improved.

3 IMPROVE THE WAY YOU EAT AND DRINK

That you eat is not just enough, how you eat and when you eat really matters. Take your breakfast seriously, don’t miss taking it. Take your three square meals daily, and chew all chewing foods thoroughly. Avoid drinking while eating and stay up to an hour before drinking to aid digestion. Take fruits, and eat fresh and immediately after preparation. Drink a lot of water to hydrate yourself.

4 IMPROVE YOUR SLEEP

Some entrepreneurs think of unaccomplished goals too much that they deprive themselves of sleep. Go to bed feeling good and optimistic about tomorrow.

To enhance your sleep, go to sleep in complete darkness, complete silence, and sleep at least 8 hours a day. Always wake up to sunlight. Avoid eating three hours to bed time.

5 IMPROVE YOUR AIR

Most entrepreneurs move from air-condition homes to air-condition cars to air-condition offices. This is such a self-killing habit. Your body needs fresh air just to absorb vitamin D3. This vitamin which can be taken from fresh air helps build immune system in the body.
Ensure that your windows are open, use natural cleaning products, plant flowers around you homes and offices.

6 SITTING IS THE NEW SMOKING, EVEN IF YOU EXERCISE

Sitting in one position for too long is risky for one’s health. It can increase the rate of heart disease and diabetes. Too much of sitting in a particular place can bring about depression feelings. Spending too much of your time sitting and working on a computer and expending mental energy without any physical activity just makes it harder to sleep at night. You need an active lifestyle if you’re going to be healthy and successful as an entrepreneur.
