The founder of Zara Amancio Ortega knocked out Bill Gates to become the richest person in the world

Amanicio Ortega, the founder of retail shop Zara, has finally managed to overtake Bill Gates as the richest person in the world.
Ortega, managed to pip Gates to the No.1 spot because his net worth is now US$85 billion, giving him a US$200 million edge over Mr. Gates.
Ortega, who was born in León, Spain, never graduated from high school. He worked for a tailor as a boy and set out on his own in his 20s, selling bathrobes and lingerie with his late first wife Rosalia MeraInditex went public in 2001. Ortega owns about 59 percent of the company, which has a $103 billion market cap. Today, the company includes brands like Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear and Stradivarius.
He stepped down as chairman of the company in 2011, but continues to go into the office every day.
