Director of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (PTDI), Elfien Goentoro and Governor of Aceh Province, Irwandi Yusuf signed the Framework Agreement on the procurement of N219 Nurtanio aircraft and the Development of Human Resources and Aerospace Facilities in Aceh.

The Aceh Provincial Government is interested in purchasing 50 units of N219 Nurtanio, a joint venture in the establishment of the N219 Nurtanio aircraft assembly line facility in Aceh, including the development of Son Aceh's human resources in the aerospace industry.

N219 Nurtanio aircraft is also very relevant to the natural conditions in Indonesia, which is generally hilly and there are many mountains. N219 Nurtanio aircraft has a maximum speed (speed) reaches 210 knots, and the lowest speed reached 59 knots.

N219 aircraft will be produced in stages. Initially it will be produced 6 units using existing production capacity, then by running the automation system in the manufacturing process, gradually delivery ability will continue to increase until reaching 36 units per year.
