COPING WITH DISAPPOINTMENT- A NIGERIAN LIFE OUTSIDE STEEMIT
Life is not just all about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain, there is an entirely different world outside of the internet and Steemit. Depression that is associated with no means of likelyhood is the order of each day in most developing countries espcially Nigeria.
In Africa Nigeria; if you are lucky to have a job, then you are one of the elite. That is, if your job pays you well enough to cater for yourself and family members. So to the unlucky ones, some of us resulted in trying our skills to earn a living.
If you are also smart to be crafty, then you make some pretty cool cash, good enough to overshadow all your past disappointments!
To an average Nigerian like me, who earns a living by providing services to educational setups, if you are not politically connected; then your chances of pulling off mega deals/contracts is ZERO!
Imagine if ten of your proposals to service an educational institution stalled for months and at the end of it all you get this:

So how do you cope during the day when this is the first email feedback you got from a very promising deal that just turned sour suddenly? Another day, another disappointment.
The price of steem and other cryptos is low, failed deals, unfavorable economy; how does someone motivate his or herself and try to stay positive? In my case, i put it all into writing and post on Steemit.
I know how you feel and believe it or not, you don't have to be in Nigeria to be poor (and unconnected) Steemit is my only source of income and with crypto prices so low, I'm afraid to spend a dime!
The idea was to make some huge money and invest it in Steem.
But its rough my friend Richy!
I'm trying to make enough on here to do a little trading. Once I get up over 5000 SP I can start siphoning a little at a time to play with.

I can relate to this state of yours brother, to survive living in Nigeria is a skill and act one must learn right from childhood because its a award winning one and that's why its often said that "he who lived and survived in Nigeria can live and survive anywhere else in the world".
And thank God for steemit that's changing things all around the world, we can grow together here i believe and fulfill our individual dreams

The way nigerian system is, you just have to keep a positive outlook in life always bcos u can be disappointed easily.

It's not easy making ends meet over here but i think the state of the economy has provided us a good mental strength to adapt to different challenges.
