Neighborhood Market Journey Blog #2
Week two on new store and we are full steem:) ahead! We were finally able to get into the new space and it looks amazing. Here are some of the shots I took while I was there. The space is currently a clothing store.
We are in the process of applying for our conditional use liquor license which is a huge pain in the ass. We had to draft a 3 page letter to 560 residents in the general area of proposed store. The letter included our intensions as a business and time/date for a community meeting.
The process can take 90-180 days so we are really trying to push it through since we open in October.
We are also working on the design of the shelving and coolers. Once I have the CAD plans I will attach. Here is the floor plan as a blank space. Had to take photo on computer because you can't load PDF
Blog #3 will consist of:
- the types of shelving we are going to use with diagram
- All coolers/freezers that we will use in space including diagram and pictures.
- Update on bitcoin atm or way to accept coin.
- Update on community meeting.
