Tesla 3 Genius Branding Story
Tesla Inc's electric first car available to the masses was the Tesla S, then the Tesla X, then they wanted to make the third be an the Tesla E, making the trilogy S - E - X, but Ford already has the Model E patented for their E-series cargo vans and their Ford Focus E-lectric hybrid cars. So Tesla flipped the E backwards to make a 3... it represents their third car available to the masses and it represents the the E still as they originally wanted; not to mention they didn't need to even design the new logo for the car model, as it was just the 'E' from their main logo, the Tesla logo itself. Genius branding.
The Tesla Inc. brand and team is genius, just like the extra under-rated legendary genius of a man they named the brand and company after, Nikola Tesla.
