Transparency in Business, a Necessity for Employees, Stakeholders and Customers

Transparency is the start of having the right mindset. You can’t have a right mindset when you are in confusion. Transparency is when you know why you do what you are doing, where you are going and it is clear to you.

When you are clear of where you are going, it makes your journey faster, because it allows you to pay attention to what is relevant instead of hanging around things that won’t contribute to your success. When people live a life without a purpose of why they are doing what they are doing, that is why they tend to jump at every opportunity that comes because they are confused of the right way to go, it’s just like living life without direction.

On the other hand, when you have a clear purpose of what you are doing, it helps you doing the right things, hanging around people that will help you achieve such purpose, and anything not contributing to your purpose won’t naturally be attracted to you. Also, having a clear purpose of what you are doing helps you fall in love with what you are doing or the business you are doing. And when you are in love with what you do, there won’t be room for fear. Fear only exists when you are not sure of what you are doing.

Having a clear purpose is a fuel that keeps you going despite odds, if you don’t meet the target aims, it means you ran out of clarity. You might have to ask yourself if you are truly on the right path and if you are really passionate about what you are doing. After asking yourself this questions and you are sure you are on the right track, it will help you give the commitment it takes to your business. When you are clear, you’ll be able to give more commitment to what you do and every actions you take will be actions that contribute towards achieving the target you have set for yourself.

Being sure of your purpose also gives you self-confidence and boldness because you know where you are going. The people will also believe in you and what you are offering for sale when you have that confidence.
Before it can be said that you are completely clear of what you are doing, two things are necessary, first, you have to make a decision of how you want your plans to be, the direction to follow and your target, that’s the mission statement. The second is determining the things needed to help you achieve what you want to achieve. That is the vision statement.

When you are running a business, it’s like you are playing a game, and when playing a game, when the rules are not fully understood, you are bound to fail. Your success also is depending on how well you play the game. Some people don’t succeed because they don’t take their job important.
