You need faith and patience to build valuable things (eg. a business that matters).
An unsystemised business is like a house without foundation. Build systems - effective systems that saves you time and effort.
It's important to have a carefully constructed reputation to be successful in business and in life. What people are told by others about you and what they surmise or assume about you will determine, more than anything else, how far you go in business and in life.
Forget the hype and packaging - learn to look beyond the surface. It will save you from wolves in sheep clothing.
People don't value what they don't pay for. If you want them to value your advice and implement, charge them a premium for it.
If you want to attract value shoppers - people to whom price is irrelevant - you must know what they want and how they think.
It's important you create desire for your offer (products or services) in a way that encourages the market/prospects to want it. It's easier to sell your offer and charge a premium when they find you than when you find them. This is mostly true for creative entrepreneurs.
Be remarkable. Make people - customers and clients - talk about you continuously. Being talked about is very important when it comes to customers acquisition, retention and charging a premium - aka earning more.
There's an ocean of money out there, changing hands by the minute. The question now is, how much are you will to command to yourself by positioning yourselves as the wizard, by building systems and structure, and building a good reputation (branding)?
