Woman Puts A Smile On Store Owner's Heart On His 35th Anniversary

in #business6 years ago

Anniversaries are something that should always be celebrated. The obstacles one has to go through to keep something alive is tough.

Dave High, 61, has had the privilege of keeping his Fresno Sunrise Vitamins store in business for 35 years and more to come we hope. In his gratitude he wanted to celebrate with the residents from the neighborhood and those who came in to continue his business.

He ordered cupcakes and drinks to enjoy with everyone who came into the store on such a special day, but in the turn of events, no one showed up. Of course, this made Dave sad and a little heart broken. It is understandable when you plan to share with people who have helped build your business and kept you going throughout the years; private owners take pride in that and have a sense of connection with that community.

Thanks to a security guards wife that frequents the shop on his break, his spirit was able to uplift his spirit and restore hope.

Kayla Jackson, 23, was able to post on social media about Dave and his 35th anniversary. Explaining the kind man that he is and how he is taken for granted at times.

Due to her posts, people around the world called his phone non-stop and people rolled in to celebrate.
