I was such a good rule follower growing up. Slowly I've been picking and choosing my own rules as well. Some rules are just silly and have no solid rationale other than control.
I totally agree. If we really think about the rules, many of them are absurd. I've never been a rule follower so I've had a bit of practice, but it's good to start from scratch. Destroy all rules, then build your own. That way you know they're really yours.
