Special Thanks to @tts
For this blog, From A to Z would like to give a special shout out to @tts, or Text To Speech.
@tts turned two recent business blogs from the written word into a synthesized spoken word recording.
It’s a great service to blog writers on Steemit.
The female reading of the blogs must be generated from a computer program. Imagine they had a woman record a lot of words, and short phrases, so that they can be copied together into something understandable. It’s the tone of the speaking that throws the listener off because the words don’t flow together in a natural speech pattern.
So @tts does this for free, and the recordings can be downloaded from the links on the last two business blogs, and that’s what From A to Z did.
From a professional Audio Engineer the levels are pretty good. However, the spacing of the reading needs adjustment to make it easier for listening. From A to Z will be adding music even tough ACX.com doesn’t favor the mix of spoken word with music because of Kindle syncing problems.
The @tts files are 32Kbps, 24000 Hz, and 16-bit, Mono. Need to convert to 128Kbps, 41000 Hz, and 16-bit, Mono. This makes it match the music file downloaded from YouTube for mixing later.
For the audio files, From A to Z will have someone go through them manually to fix the spacing issues. A song specialist has identified two types of beats on the song that can be cut in for intros and outros on the tracks being creating for SoundCloud to make each audio version unique to a degree.
This process will take about an hour for 10 minutes of finished audio.
Now that this process has been completed the tracks have been published to SoundCloud.
From A to Z would like to thank @tts once again for this service.
