How Many STEEMIT Profiles Should You FOLLOW?

One of the most confusing aspects of social platforms is how many accounts should you follow?

What's the best strategy? Follow everybody, follow nobody, who do you follow and why should you care?

I'm sure most of you have heard that your income is the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

This is true in social media land as well. The 5 profiles you follow the closest will have the biggest determining factor on your success on this and other similar sites. Take this seriously!

Now let's talk about the number of followers. First off, you want as many followers as you can get. This will ensure your message gets out to as many people as possible. Second, you should not go follow for follow. You need to be intentional with who you follow.

My recommendation is to try to follow at least 100 people very closely. You can always follow more, but realize you won't be able to keep up with everyone if you follow too many profiles.

Now we have a number and we know the importance of following, now let's talk about what to look for.

Obviously don't just follow anyone. I always look at the wallet with the quickness. I'm creating a process where I don't listen very much to people who aren't investing in steem power.

My suggestion is to find profiles that post often, engage with their fans, and have account balances in the thousands as a minimum.

Once you have followed 100 profiles and you find someone new of influence, I encourage to kick someone out of your top 100. This will allow the cream to rise to the top (remember you can follow more than 100 if you want. But know your #)

Once you have followed some influential profiles, then it's time to make sure to consistently show them some love and engage with their posts.

Also, make sure that you're engaging by giving value to them. This will make them want to engage with you. If it looks like you're there just to take then you're not likely to benefit as much.

One of the unique features of this platform is the fact you see every post of every profile you follow in your feed. This is killer! No more cluttered up feed with advertisements and other nonsense!

Last ninja tip...don't jut listen to what they say but watch what they do!
