Very very true. By shopping locally in small businesses you're helping families to live on. On the other end if you buy on Big surfaces you're helping the CEO to buy another vacation house or another sports car.. Sadly that's the truth...
You really can feel the difference in a store where the owner/employees have a strong personal investment in serving the community because they are part of the community themselves!
